Master’s in International Cooperation and Development (MICD) is 2 years Master’s Programme of the Mid-Western University under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science aiming to develop competent human resources with specialized knowledge and effective tools to lead and manage projects in the field of development cooperation. The master’s programme is designed to equip learners with academic background and necessary practical knowledge including project management skills required by national and international organizations. In response to the need to train students on international cooperation and development, MICD is designed under academic and technical assistance from University of Pavia in Italy within the framework of global Master in Cooperation and Development Network (CDN) of Pavia. Originally initiated from Pavia in Italy, Similar other Master’s programs are being offered in Italy, Palestine, Colombia and Kenya.
MICD is a partner of the Cooperation and Development Network of Pavia (CDN), which consists of five similar Master's Programs offered in different continents.
The Network represents a unique resource for organizing joint academic activities among partner institutions, enhancing the mobility of teaching faculty and facilitating the exchange of students for attending seminars, pursuing internships and carrying out research activities.
